NADINE SAUBERS a California native has been involved in art and design her entire life. At nine years old she was sewing designer outfits for her Barbie dolls and by the early 70's she sold her clothing designs in her own store, “Apache Plume.”

Nadine’s worked in ceramics, painting, drawing, graphic art and always with fabric. She footed her nursing education by sewing custom clothing and marketing her art and ceramic work. While working as a pediatric nurse in critical care, trauma, air and ground transport of patients, Nadine continued to make and sell art.

In 2005 Nadine launched her website Nadine Art to sell pieces from her line created with oil, watercolor, gouache, color pencil, pencil, pen and ink, felt pen, fabric, and photography.

“My first love has always been to create whether in fabric or other media. I also have a passion to mentor including wellness coaching and helping women of all ages discover their own passion and realize that it’s never to late to do what you love. If you are in your forties or fifties you have an enormous body of skills and if you mix that with discovering your passion you can have an incredible and fulfilling new chapter in your life.”

Nadine spent her high school years in Japan and the following fours years she globe trotted the world.

“All my different roles and experiences in life made me realize that I had to finally put it all together and do what I love and that is design. And so I started Nadine & Co. on a shoe string with ideas that I knew people would love as much as I do. I’ve turned entrepreneurial!”

Nadine is also the author of The Everything First Aid Book (Adams Media) and The Complete Idiots’ Guide to Fighting Fatigue to be released by Penguin in August 2008. Under Nadine & Co. she produces art and design, does wellness coaching, and works doing research, marketing and design for the likes of U.S. and international film and TV producers and best selling authors.
